Terms

Last updated October 7, 2026

By using 3D Weather Map or creating an account, you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose.

A hobby project

3D Weather Map is built and run by one person in their spare time. It's offered as is, for free, with no guarantee that it's accurate, complete, up to date or available at any given moment.

Not an official warning source

The site turns NOAA's public radar data into 3D and shows National Weather Service warnings, but it can be late, wrong or down. Never use it to make safety decisions. Always follow your local National Weather Service office, emergency managers and official alerts (Wireless Emergency Alerts, NOAA Weather Radio, local media).

Beta access

During the beta, access is free and limited. How long it lasts, who gets it, and which features are included (such as high-detail radar) can change or end at any time, with or without notice. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Fair use

Please don't scrape the site, overload it, or try to get around the beta gate or access limits.

Data and credits

Radar and warning data come from NOAA and the National Weather Service; maps from Esri, Google and OpenStreetMap contributors. Their own terms apply to their data.

Privacy
